The Nadege necklace is 19 inches of considered abundance. Large greenish-teal and mustard Krobo beads anchor the design, joined by amber, teal, mustard, and white Krobo beads, mustard and seafoam Ashanti beads, button pearls, a peacock baroque pearl, green and clear African recycled glass beads, and gold-tone hematite. Every element was chosen with intention. Every combination earns its place.

The gold-plated stainless steel carabiner clasp is as much a design detail as it is a fastening. This is a necklace that does not ask for permission.

Nadege is a name of French and Haitian Creole origin, rooted in hope. And there is something hopeful about a piece this layered, this alive with color and texture and story.
