The Jabari necklace is 20 inches, built from red and black African recycled glass beads, handcrafted Krobo beads, brass beads, and off-white seed beads. The color palette is bold and grounded at once, red for energy, black for depth, brass for warmth. The gold-plated stainless steel lobster clasp finishes the piece with quiet precision.

Jabari is a name of Swahili origin. It means brave and fearless.

When this piece was being designed, three words kept returning: strength, grace, compassion. Not one or two of them. All three together. Because that is what real courage looks like. Not loudness. The red and black recycled glass beads in Jabari are made by hand in West Africa, each one carrying slight variation in tone and surface. The brass beads add warmth and a connection to a material that has been used in African adornment for centuries.
